Terms of service

The rules for using this site. Short, specific, and written to be read.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of celpipmocks.com and everything on it. Using the site means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the site.

celpipmocks is an independent study site and is not affiliated with Paragon Testing Enterprises, who own and deliver the official CELPIP test. CELPIP is a registered trademark of Paragon Testing Enterprises. Nothing on this site is endorsed by, licensed by or connected to them.

2. What the site provides

Practice tests, a practice course, score tools and automated assessment of Writing and Speaking. It is study material. It is not the CELPIP test, not a test centre, not an immigration service and not legal or immigration advice.

3. Scores are estimates

Every band, level and CLB estimate produced here is an estimate produced by this site to guide your study. It is not an official CELPIP result, it cannot be submitted to IRCC or to any employer, regulator or institution, and it does not predict your official score. Writing and Speaking are assessed automatically, and how we evaluate sets out both the method and its limits. You accept that an automated band can be wrong, and that a difference of one band between attempts is normal variation.

4. Accounts

Some features need an account. Sign-in is handled by Supabase, and we never see or store your password.

  • You must give an email address you control, and keep it current, because results and billing notices go there.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share your credentials.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at admin@celpipmocks.com if you think someone else has access.
  • You must be old enough to agree to a contract where you live. If you are under 18, use the site with a parent or guardian.

5. Free access and paid plans

Test 1 of every section and Full Mock 1 are free, with no card. Paid plans unlock the remaining tests, the full practice course and unlimited evaluations on Writing and Speaking.

Plans are sold in fixed periods and priced in US dollars: 7 days at $9, 30 days at $19.99, or 75 days at $49.99. A plan renews at the end of its period at the same price unless cancelled. We may change prices, and a change never affects a period already paid for.

6. Payment, renewal and cancellation

  • Payments are taken by Razorpay or by PayPal. Card details are entered on the provider's own page. We never receive, see or store your full card number.
  • Access opens when the payment provider confirms the payment, not when the checkout page is opened.
  • A plan renews automatically at the end of its period until you cancel.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal and never shortens a period already paid for. Cancel at any time by email or directly with the payment provider.
  • If a renewal payment fails, access continues to the end of the period already paid for and then stops.
  • Refunds are governed by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. What you may do with the content

You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the tests, lessons, model answers and feedback for your own preparation, for as long as you have access. You may print or download material for your own study.

You may not: republish or resell it; use it to run a class, a tutoring business or another site; share an account; scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the site; use it to train a machine learning model; or remove attribution. Questions, passages, audio, model answers, rubrics, tools and page content are ours or our licensors'.

8. What you submit

Your essays, recordings and answers stay yours. By submitting them you allow us to store and process them to produce and store your report, to send it to you, and to operate and debug the service. Speaking recordings are deleted after 15 days; the transcript and the scores are kept so your report still works. What is stored and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.

Do not submit other people's personal information, anything unlawful, or anything you would not want stored.

9. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to break, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, its API or its database.
  • Do not automate submissions, or create accounts in bulk.
  • Do not resell access, share credentials, or present this material as official CELPIP content.
  • Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful, abusive or infringing.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is not serious you get a warning first. An account closed for a serious breach is not refunded.

10. Availability

The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available without interruption, that tests will always be free of errors, or that an evaluation will always complete. We fix what is reported. If an outage costs you a material part of a short plan, see the refund policy.

Parts of the service depend on third parties, including hosting, the database, payment providers, the speech recognition service, the model provider and the email service. Their failures can interrupt the service and are outside our control.

11. Third party links

Links to celpip.ca, IRCC and other external sites are provided for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their accuracy. Always confirm an official requirement with the body that sets it.

12. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and we are not liable for any decision you take on the basis of a practice score, including whether to book, sit, defer or retake the official test, or how an application of yours turns out. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in these terms affects consumer rights you have under the law of the country you live in.

13. Ending your use

You may stop using the site at any time, and you can ask for your account and data to be deleted at admin@celpipmocks.com. We may close an account that breaches these terms. When an account ends, access to paid content ends with it.

14. Changes

These terms can change. The date at the top is when they last did. A change takes effect when it is published, and the version that governs a payment is the one published when the payment was made. A change that materially reduces what you already paid for will not be applied to that period.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which celpipmocks.com operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Nothing here removes a consumer protection that the law of your own country of residence gives you and does not allow to be waived.
