CELPIP Full Mock 11
Two of the four sections are rated Hard, and they are the two that are judged rather than marked. Sit this one when you want to know what your writing and speaking bands look like under pressure.
Full Mock 11 puts both of the judged sections at Hard. Listening and Reading are marked against a key and cannot be argued with; Writing and Speaking are assessed on four criteria each, and this mock is built to test the criteria that depend on tone.
What is inside Full Mock 11
Listening 11 is island practicalities around Nanaimo: a health card and a newborn at one counter, a fence and an arbutus tree, oysters you should not pick this week, a community forest first cheque, a preparedness grant argued three ways, and the water coming up the dike.
Reading 12 is the test built to show why CELPIP reading is hard: a letter about taking up curling at forty-three, four winter tire packages, northern ice roads, and a ski hill that decided to stay open all year.
Writing 13 is a formal email to a principal after a child was left behind on a class trip over an unpaid $95 fee, written so that the teacher is explicitly not blamed, then a survey on free breakfast for every student against subsidised hot lunches for families who apply.
Speaking 14 is eight tasks with authority in most of them: asking two brothers to share care, speaking in front of a group, a youth hockey arena, a lobby roof argued against security cameras, a long-serving cashier giving unauthorised discounts, an opinion on replacing workers with machines, and a bellows machine at a repair workshop.

How each section is scored
Listening and Reading are auto-marked instantly. Writing is scored on Content and Coherence, Vocabulary, Readability and Task Fulfilment; Speaking on Content and Coherence, Vocabulary, Listenability and Task Fulfillment. Both come back with a band per criterion, an overall band and feedback, which on a mock like this one is more useful than the number.

Why are the two hard sections the writing and the speaking?
Because those are the two that are judged against descriptors rather than marked against a key, and tone is part of both. This mock is built to test the criteria that depend on tone, which is where a band most often differs from a candidate expectation.
Does this mock come with transcripts?
The listening section does. After you submit, review mode replays each clip with its transcript beside the answer key, which is where most of the learning from a listening section actually happens.
Is this a good first mock?
No. Start with Full Mock 7, which has three Easy sections, and come to this one once the sequence and the timing are familiar.
