Full Mock 7 runs all four CELPIP sections back to back in the order the exam uses: Listening, Reading, Writing, then Speaking. It is composed of test 7 from each section, and three of those four are rated Easy, which is deliberate. A first full mock should teach you what two and a half hours of concentration feels like, not what your worst section looks like under fatigue.

What is inside Full Mock 7

Listening 7 is six clips set around Thunder Bay: a flooded basement at a city hall counter, two cousins before a small-engine repair class, a chimney sweep and a new wood stove, the end of the shipping season at the port, three snowmobile club members and a trail across private land, and a talk on why physicians leave northern communities.

Reading 7 is a letter from a cousin eight months into an electrical apprenticeship in Saskatoon, four Silverbirch home internet packages, the return of the plains bison, and the city of Timmins removing its bus fares.

Writing 7 is a formal email disputing a $75 parking ticket issued while a wheelchair was being unloaded, then a survey choosing between faster street plowing and a sidewalk clearing service for $900,000.

Speaking 7 is eight recorded tasks: advice for a neighbour learning to drive at 45, a time you were late, a busy Saturday library, an internet package argued against a mobile hotspot, a car promised to a roommate, an opinion on sorting household waste, and an unnamed object with five stepped trays.

General or General LS

When you start you choose the format you need. CELPIP-General sits all four skills and is the one used for permanent residence and most professional purposes. CELPIP-General LS sits Listening and Speaking only, which is the shorter format used for Canadian citizenship. Either way you get an estimated CLB band per skill and an overall band.

How each section is scored

Listening and Reading are marked instantly against CLB-aligned answer keys, because every question has exactly one correct answer. Writing and Speaking are evaluated against the official 2026 descriptors: writing on Content and Coherence, Vocabulary, Readability and Task Fulfilment, and speaking on Content and Coherence, Vocabulary, Listenability and Task Fulfillment. You get a band per skill and an overall band on the 1 to 12 scale.
