Full Mock 15 front-loads the difficulty. The two hardest sections come first, which is unusual and useful: it tells you what happens to your reading when you arrive at it already tired from a demanding listening section, which is precisely the exam order.
What is inside Full Mock 15
Listening 15 is Gatineau across the river and up the hill: a season pass that never arrived, a compressed work week discussed on the bus, taps leased in a sugar bush, houses gone from a floodplain, a daycare board with a waiting list it cannot clear, and a beetle that took a street of ash trees.
Reading 16 is the hardest reading test here: a letter typed one-handed after a bike crash in Kananaskis, four community garden plots separated by eligibility rather than price, road salt in urban streams, and a university that made every degree include a paid work term.
Writing 8 is an informal email about borrowing a friend pickup truck to collect a dining table, including turning down his offer to help, then a survey on a transit pass subsidy against two fixed work-from-home days.
Speaking 9 is eight tasks including an uncle asked to mind two grandchildren, a school pickup zone, front windows argued against a back deck, and four hundred dollars of soccer club cash that nobody can account for.
