Part 2, Daily Life Conversation is two neighbours on a fishing wharf in eastern PEI, one of whom has just come in from hauling her lobster traps.
Part 3, Listening for Information is a man who has bought a century home in a heritage district and a woman who restores old wooden windows. She has the expertise, he has the questions, and the heritage rules are the reason the answers are not simple.
Part 4, Listening to a News Item is a single voice on a lighthouse on the north shore that has been moved back from the cliff.

Tips for this test
- In Part 1, the warranty condition arrives after the fault is described. Do not answer the first question from the first thing you hear.
